Primary Edakka Courses Conducted: 
     Level 1(Beginners)          : Saadhakam
     Level 2 (Intermediate)      : Edakka Kottu For Sopana Sangeetham & Ashtapathi
     Level 3 (Advanced)         : Edakka Kottu For Panchavadhyam
    
Age Eligibility:           

Any interested students aged above 7 years can join the academy. We have wide range of students from 7 years to 65 years including kids and ladies learning in our academy. 

Duration of Courses:

The Edakka course at Kalavadhyam Academy is designed to follow a purely traditional and structured approach. Students begin their journey from the foundational level, learning core rhythmic concepts, understanding the nuances of thaalam, and developing a strong base through dedicated saadhakam (daily practice).

Only after building this foundation do students progress to Intermediate levels.. On average, a student requires a minimum of two years to be eligible for Level 2 training and to prepare for their Arangettam (debut performance).
