For Kalavadhyam, that driving force has been Shri Kalavadhyam Dheeraj Edat, whose passion for preserving and promoting Kerala's traditional percussion arts laid the foundation for what has today become one of Karnataka's most recognized cultural academies.As the Founder and Vice Chairman of Kalavadhyam, Shri Dheeraj Edat has played a pivotal role in shaping the academy's journey from its humble beginnings to its remarkable achievements. What started with just four students in 2010 and a dream to bring authentic Kerala percussion traditions to a wider audience has today grown into a vibrant institution nurturing hundreds of students, artists, and cultural enthusiasts.In the formative years of Kalavadhyam, Shri Dheeraj Edat was not merely a founder. He wore multiple hats and tirelessly served as an administrator, faculty member, promoter, coordinator, mentor, organizer, and cultural ambassador, ensuring that every aspect of the academy functioned seamlessly. His commitment and hands-on leadership became the cornerstone upon which Kalavadhyam built its reputation for excellence.Behind every milestone achieved by Kalavadhyam stands the unwavering support of a dedicated team of students, artists, well-wishers, and trusted associates who believed in his vision and stood by him throughout the journey.
