Preserving Tradition Through the Gurukula System

Kalavadhyam Kshethra Vaadhyakala Gurukulam is the traditional learning wing of Kalavadhyam Academy for Arts & Cultures, dedicated to preserving and imparting the authentic knowledge of Kerala's temple percussion and devotional art forms through the time-honoured Gurukula tradition.

The Gurukulam believes that learning is not merely about mastering an instrument but about understanding its heritage, discipline, devotion, rhythm, and cultural significance. Every student is guided with personal attention, systematic training, and practical exposure while following the classical methodologies passed down through generations of renowned gurus.

Our objective is to nurture skilled artists who uphold the values, discipline, and authenticity of Kerala's rich cultural traditions.
